STRATEGY
Healthcare events face a unique design challenge: they need to feel authoritative enough for professionals and stakeholders, yet approachable enough to generate excitement and drive registrations. For the BC Digital Health Forum, a major event at the intersection of technology and healthcare, the visual identity had to do both.
The creative concept draws from the night sky. Each star carries its own meaning and position, yet together they form constellations, larger systems that guide and connect. This mirrors the healthcare workforce itself: individual professionals, each essential in their own role, whose collective unity forms the system that keeps care moving forward.
This idea shaped a visual identity built on connection, points of light linked into a greater whole, echoing how digital health depends on the people, not just the technology, behind it. Rather than defaulting to the clinical aesthetic common in healthcare, the design leans into this sense of constellation and connectivity, creating a presence that feels both human and forward-looking.
The system was built to work across every touchpoint, including event branding, posters, social media graphics, and promotional materials, ensuring a consistent experience from first impression to registration.
